I am trying to put together some interesting rides that would include some good places to stay overnight. The problem has been trying to find a place to overnight the horses.
I have two nice B&B's that are about 8 miles from our starting point. With a little work I think I can get a place to board horses for the night.
Right now I can offer great trail rides starting at our farm which is located on the end of a dead end gravel road. The trail rides would be a mixture of back roads (all gravel) and trails that are either single track or old logging roads.
One very nice trail ride is about 8 miles. It is a loop that passes an osprey nest, several small ponds, and you can wade (if your horse likes water) into Lake Champlain. I love this ride & we have named it the "Best Ride Ever".
There are all sort of options. I can put together rides that can be as long or as short as you want. All are loops, on a mixture of back roads & trails. Never on pavement but might cross paved roads. A great way to see the farmland in the Champlain Valley.
